| Usagi Tsukino (or Serena in the US dub) meets a talking cat named Luna, who gives her a magical brooch to transform into Sailor Moon. Using her new powers, she must defeat the evil forces of the Dark Kingdom (Negaverse in the dub). Along the way, Usagi and Luna discover other girls capable of becoming Sailor Senshi (or Scouts). Whenever the girls are in trouble, a mysterious figure known only as Tuxedo Mask comes to their rescue.
