Trigun Kitties

Summary:

Vash the Stampede is a mysterious gunman known only for the path of destruction he's left behind himself. With the power to destroy an entire city at his hands, an entire world searches to stop this one man. Set a futuristic, yet old-western style setting, Trigun mixes slapstick comedy with some good ol' fashion gun battles with a new kick. With this dangerous man leaving a trail of destruction behind him, he now has to face his worst enemy yet... two insurance girls.

Adoogen:
Oh, I didn't think I'd have to review this section because everyone these days has seen Trigun, but I'll write one anyways. Trigun is great, it's a really good anime for beginners because it doesn't have that kinda super-wierd plot or scenes like a movie like Akira has. It can be enjoyed by younger viewers and older viewers equally and the characters are well thought out. It may not look like it at first, but just keep watching. One could argue the insurance girls have no great importance to the series or great character depth. I would have to agree with that, I hate them. Nonetheless, this isn't one of those series where you say to your friends "It gets better later" because it is good the whole way through. Sure, it does get better, but doesn't blow in the beginning like some series (Witch Hunter Robin, for example).

The animation is good, the dub is surprisingly good, don't let people tell you otherwise. The only voice that really differs is Milly's voice- but nobody likes her anyways. I highly recommend this series to newcomers to anime. Also, look into the manga if you can, it follows pretty closely, I think, but still a good read. I've been told that later the manga starts to deviate a little more.

Trigun Kitty rocks!
