Summary:

The story revolves around a female bounty hunter who goes by the name of Noir - known as one of the greatest bounty hunters of their time. Taking any well-paying job, the danger involved in the job does not matter to her.

Scarred by a broken past (and haunted by a stopwatch's spooky melody), Noir is soon led to a young girl who (while still a teenager) can kill just as well as she can. Vowing to kill her once she finds out how she came into posession of the stopwatch she has, they form a fragile alliance, and Noir becomes a deadly duet.

Together the two girls are pulled into a series of bounties that seem to have been set in order to take them down. While Noir is tugged around by an unknown organization by their strings, they must try to find out the truth of their past and of the present.

Itchy:
I really, really didn't like this series. The action, which the series is mostly based around is pretty pathetic. The guns sound like cap guns, and the animators often refuse to show blood, which either makes the battles even more wimpy than they already are, or just make things confusing (in one instance, the main character was shot in the arm, but the only damage she showed was a rip in her shirt). The creators also make sure that they play the same clip of Mirelle's past almost every episode (sometimes more than once in the same episode). Sometimes after a few episodes they'll show you a whole half second more of it, but it still gets repetative and annoying. With a combination of poor action, poor use of flashbacks, and an overused plot idea, this makes for an overall bad series. At least the animation's okay.
