Summary: After awakening an ancient vampire, Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing recruits him into her anti-vampire (and other undead creatures) group - the Hellsing Organization. Formed around Anglican beliefs, the Hellsing organization purges the evil undead of Great Britain with deadly might and relentless determination. Along with old-timer Walter and new recruit (and vimpire) Ceres Victoria, the Hellsing Organization comes upon an evil plot - one that threatens to destroy the age-old organization itself from the inside. Using their secretive nature against them, this new enemy force finds ways to expose and ravage the reputation of Hellsing. Sir Integra makes a final stand with her most loyal members which only ends with an epicly destructive battle...

Explanation for Rating: Itchy: One of my favorite series. Has an interesting context and likably evil characters. Relying on action to carry the series, Hellsing stays surprisingly interesting. Hellsing's setting draws upon many of the more popular vampire novels, creating a familiar and yet fresh new world. Highly recommended.
