Summary: Set in the future, mankind starts to assimilate with android technology and the definition of mankind is being redefined constantly. In this whacked up world, one female cop, Kusanagi Motoko, has had her brain transferred to an entirely robotic body. The story follows her and the rest of her police force as they take on both human and non-human criminals.

Explanation for Rating: Adoogen: Definitely not an anime for the simple-minded. You might say to yourself, "Hey, it's action, has female robots, and it's semi-mecha show!" Well, that's just a blimp in this series. The series actually focuses more around dialogue and interaction between the characters and even that is NOT EASY TO FOLLOW. Heck, I'm 18 when I write this, and I have trouble following it fully. But the dialogue makes it great, and this is a series you'll truly enjoy if you can get past the boring parts.
