What we "accomplished"Our comments (excuses)
Sat - 06.02.01:
  • Decided upon meeting Tuesday nights
    (6:00 to whenever)
  • Matt's additions to script
Gammler- Just to note: None of us are *required* to comment on here, only those that really want to (however, I feel obliged to say more than I do on the left, so I pretty much always comment).
Mon - 06.04.01:
  • Matt picked up from school by police
Gammler- Yeah, well ... we couldn't have helped that

Dirac- This perplexed us for quite a while. If you knew Matt, and you don't, then you would be surprised too. Its like hearing the President commit some sort of lude...er, bad example. Its like hearing a popular religious figure commit some sort of lude...er, bad example. Its just strange, lets leave it at that.

Adoogen- I actually saw this event coming, since it was foretold to me in a fortune cookie.

Tue - 06.05.01 (1st Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Scenes completed: 3
Total completed: 3
Gammler- Our first time. We thought we did pretty well (does that sound sick to anyone else?)

Dirac- 3 in the first meeting, not bad at all. I think these were the Pen Pen scenes though, and were quite easy to do.

Adoogen- I think this was a good start- except for the fact that the RPG'ers tried to take our spot, so we had to beat them down.

Sat - 06.09.01 to Sat - 06.16.01:
  • Josh out of town: No meeting
    (current script given to Scott)
Gammler- We couldn't do anything without the Eva Guru (well, we can, but we got to blame our sloth on him)

Dirac- Yea, I was out of town. So, as the pillar of this Eva association, we could not hold a meeting.

Adoogen- I think I almost lost the script while it was in my possesion...

Tue - 06.19.01 (2nd Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt, Scott
  • Josh printed another copy of script for use
  • Scenes completed: 6
Total completed: 9
Gammler- We were all impressed about that (well, except Scott)

Dirac- Woohoo! This was impressive, I actually printed another copy of the script! Yes! Oh...and we finished 6 scenes, thats also good, I guess.

Adoogen- I might have missed a meeting, but I sure did have a good time getting drunk and smoking illicit drugs. I think it was worth it- wait no, drugs are bad, don't do them.

Tue - 06.26.01 (3rd Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Josh copied all changes onto new script
  • Call from Matt (over an hour long,
    nothing accomplished)
  • Scenes completed: 3
Total completed: 12
Gammler- Matt did a lot of work ... when he wasn't keeping a spare bar of soap nearby

Dirac- Yea, Scott showed up this time, and we did half as much. The call from Matt didn't help, but since Scott is our scapegoat, we have to leave it to him.

Adoogen- I'm listening to a German song right now, oh? yea, we got some stuff done- but Sam Goody's seemed to pull us in. I blame this on Satan.

Tue - 07.03.01:
  • Scott's 16th birthday: No meeting
Gammler- We didn't want to make him feel bad by completing another half dozen scenes (seriously, everyone came up with excuses at the last minute not to meet)

Dirac- Yea, I went to a fair, saw a pyrotechnic show in the air, was kinda cool. Dunno what the other slackers did.

Adoogen- I'd just like to point out once again that I am older than Dirac, and- yea that's all.

Fri - 07.06.01 (4th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • First meeting at new location
  • Scenes completed: 1
Total Completed: 13
Gammler- I'm not really sure why we didn't do anything ... but we didn't

Dirac- The new surroundings threw us. We were in awe of the big screen tv, and excited about developing pictures (which took about 5 minutes to figure out the little form).

Adoogen- I loved the new place and new tv- I think there was a tear in my eye when we started watching eva on DVD... OH! We couldn't continue because we saw a Gundam Wing manga with Duo touching himself innapprioatly- I don't think anyone could work after that.

Tue - 07.10.01 (5th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Completed first scene (except six lines)
    before Scott showed up
  • Finished first scene (except one line, I think),
    but didn't do a d*mn thing afterwards
  • Matt called ... didn't contribute anything ... again
  • Scenes completed: 1½
(I worked on the last scene by myself afterwards
... so it sucks, but at least it has something on it)
Total completed: 14½
Gammler- We were on a roll, too ... I bet Scott'll insist we change everything I did on the last scene, too

Dirac- Ok, we did 1 scene, but let me explain this scene. This is the largest scene, and the one we had been avoiding since the first day. So this was a big deal. The largest scene too. We kinda lost focus after that, kind of easy to do.

Adoogen- Notice how many times Gammler mentions in me in the failures... I feel so special- actually I didn't side track us this time. But I told Gammler we'd finish 5 scenes next time we meet *Wonder how that will hold over*

Tue - 07.17.01 (6th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Completed all of first half except one scene
  • Completed last scene and most
    of second-to-last scene
  • Turned off phone before Matt called
    (just in case)
  • Scenes completed: 7¼ (New record!)
Total completed: Almost 22
Gammler- I would first like to personally thank Mr. T for his unbeknownst assistance in the making of this episode. I would also like to thank Adoogen for helping keep us on track to make those 7¼ scenes (we're almost done with that really long, second-to-last scene, so the rest should be easy).

Dirac- Cost of food: $1.00
Cost of drinks: $1.00
Mocking Misato: Heartbreak
Subbed 7 Scenes: Not too shabby
Having witty ending: Priceless

Adoogen- Note to self: Mighty Ducks was a bad cartoon. Oh yea, I really had to keep the group on track, Cory was all like "Let's go cause some property damage." and I was all like "NO!" and then Dirac was all like "We should beat up elderly people." and I was all like "NO!" and then Nyushram said "Let's go steal candy from little children." and I was all like "Ok". Oh, and we did 7 scenes- thanx to the fact the RPG'ers went into their own room.

Tue - 07.24.01 (7th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Advertised our website on a board
  • Skipped around scenes a lot
  • Explained what we were doing to two people
  • Oh, and completed 4¼ scenes, finishing
the episode - Nothing too important
Total completed: 26
Gammler- While trying to create a rational form of Pi, I accidentally proved that, not only is Shinji gay, but he also has the hots for Toji
Find out what he had to say!
Oh, and thanks to Adoogen, we finally finished the second episode (that gun wasn't really loaded after all, was it?)

Dirac- Ok, first off, the width of this window really pisses me off. Well, we finished the first episode. If you are reading this and see no information to the left of the comments, that is because I'm the go-getter of the bunch. Of course, the sad thing is it took us about 3 hours to do the 3 scenes. And I, being the -Script Bearer-, had to do all the writing for some reason. Scott almost passed out a few times. He gave some excuse about football or something, but we all know its from running that meth lab in that old shack on the back of his property. A bit strange how it resembles the Unabomber's...but we don't ask those kind of questions. Ok, I've rambled on for too long, and I can get my license next week. Thats about all the important stuff.

Adoogen- Ugh, first off, some moron left the FC pop up on when they modified this, I know who it was, but I'll just left them sulk in their stupidity. These last scenes had some trouble getting down. I think the reason was because the DVD of "Dude, Where's My Car?' was sitting in front of us. Then when we finished it I think we sat there and flipped through posters and I almost fell asleep. I'm sorry that I'm the only who plays a real sport and that some of the others are jealous.Don't worry, puberty will fix that all up some day. And we vandilized the dry-erase board with another shameless plug for our site.

Tue - 07.31.01 (8th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Woo, talk about slacking off ... We did nothing
  • New guy (Brandon/P-Chan) joined
  • Positive and LOTS of negative comments
    from ... the nameless duo
Total completed: 26
Gammler- Hrm, let's see ... we got the new guy, the Goffses told us what's wrong on the script, but we ignored them (our parody better than their parody), although Jason came up with good names for characters. Another guy who was just there ... Tom, but we called him Tiny. We also got our own copies of the completed script along with a wicked cool title page (kudos to Adoogen and Dirac for that!). Didn't touch the third script (we looked at it and I commented on the pretty font choice ... nothing better than black Courier New). We should get something done next time, but I won't promise much (although Dirac has a new mission to get us a subbing software).

Dirac- Wow, what a night. We arrived at 6, and managed to wast around 2 hours, till we were thrown out rather forcefully. I thought those shotguns were just props...but we got out. We hung around outside, generally scaring the kind-hearted occupants of great clips. Then we went to Schnucks, and locked Scott in a freezer. That was funny, until the police were called. We managed to escape the fuzz and haul-ass to Lion's Choice. If those fries are good enough for a lion, then their good enough for.....Nick, I wouldn't touch em though. ANyways, we loitered there for about an hour, then drove home. Scott was in front of us, and was obviously under some type of chemical unfluence. But all in all, we did hardly anything. Not a very productive meeting. Now we start the subbing process, once I figure out how to do that. If anyone has a cheap external genlock overlay device for the PC, give me an email.

Adoogen- Once again all was prophesized in a fortune cookie to me. We got more work done than I thought we would- since I thought we'd do nothing and we did slightly more. There weren't any RPGers so they didn't slow us down, but the fact remains when you don't have anything to do, you usually don't do anything...funny how life is. It appears the less work we do, the more fun the meetings are. Kinda annoying though when Josh whines about wanting to go home, but what ya gunna do.

Nyushram- Well this has got to be one of the most eventful meetings I swear man we got all the way to laughing about working on episode three! When I got home I was so tired I stayed up to 11:00 to watch 08th MS Team. Of course I'll admit running around Schnucks like in a classic Scooby Doo cartoon from the cops was fun but once they started using tear gas and cattle prods the fun kinda ends but Brandon and Scott seemed earily at home in the whole situation which made the rest of us run like hell alot more. Well atleast most did til Josh stopped to pick up the latest vegie mag but I just nodded smiled and ran some more. All in all though really uneventful.

Tue - 08.07.01 (9th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt, Brandon
  • Umm ... 2½ scenes done on 3rd ep
  • More knowledge gained on subbing
second ep, but we haven't started
Total completed: 29 (ep 2)
Total completed: 2½ (ep 3)
Gammler- Must type less ... we started the third episode (barely) and played with a rubber bouncing ball for about two hours. We have a plan for the second episode, but we're really playing out the SLACKERS title. And I will be looking for that ball Saturday! I changed my color to get more Blue on here.

Dirac- Damn thought police. Anywho, we wrote some on the 3rd script, lost a bouncy ball. I'm working on getting the last subbing prog I need. I just need to dl it. I'll get it done.

Adoogen- Stupidity is acceptable in some place, but some people just abuse the system. Anyways, we kinda started the Third script and played w/ a bouncy ball... Nothing will really get done until the subbing of ep 2 is done.

Tue - 08.14.01 (10th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt, Brandon
  • I think we got 1 scene done
  • Bought a new bounce ball: Pinky!
Total completed: 29 (ep 2)
Total completed: 2½ (ep 3)
Gammler- I have the feeling that Nick isn't part of us ... he seems so distant (we'll have to flog him for that). Also the new guy thought he was too good for us, so we think he's a Spike Spencer clone. We'll give him to Catherine to break that habit. But the most important thing: Orange Mint Tic-Tacs are addictive.

Adoogen- Ummm, We talked about American Pie 2 and got one line down. Everything else had no point and was kinda stupid. Maybe the subbin' will get done and we can continue work.

Tue - 8.21.01 (11th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • We got four scenes done ... mentally
  • Bought Chinese food
  • Watched some of American Pie
  • NGE sound files given to Dirac
Total completed: 29 (ep 2)
Total completed: 2½ (ep 3)
Gammler- Now that Dirac has the sound files, we can start timing (and as soon as we get the DVD from The Brian, we can start subbing ... FINALLY). Oh yeah, Brandon's out, but no one really cares, because only eight people really read this. Also, Matt may soon attend the meetings (we're not sure), but we'll be outputting the files to cassette at his place. When we get it all on tape, it'll be time for more pictures.
Sat - 9.08.01 (12th Meeting):
Members not attended: Matt
  • Watched end of Trigun (VERY good)
  • Started work on opening song
Total completed: 29 (ep 2)
Total completed: I forgot (ep 3)
Gammler- We just need to sub the opening song, then get together to overlay. It's kinda like running up a hill in Cross-Country: Near the top, you just want to stop running, but once you make it, you're ready to keep going. Right now, we're near the top. Scott's not used to running long distance, so he doesn't know this.
Sat - 9.15.01:
  • Scott surprised us by finishing
    the opening lyrics by himself
  • Decided on a name for Shinji
Gammler- Not an official meeting, but we got the last bit done, so all we need is the DVD and to set up a time to overlay at Matt's house. Everything else is done. Oh yeah, we also changed our meetings to two Saturdays a month because of school.
Fri - 1.18.02 (13th Meeting):
Members not attended: None
  • Downloaded, installed and set up
    subtitle overlaying program
  • Corrected timing precisely ...
    but still didn't finish
Total completed: (ep 2) Umm, all of it
Total completed: (ep 3) Josh has that script
Gammler- The first time Matt was actually present! As usual, we got nothing done, but had some fun playing with the knife and wine bottle in Matt's older brother's room. Scott's wound should heal in time for Track (unfortunately for him). Lucky for us, Matt's little brother wore a shirt, which saved us a few future therapy sessions.
Mon - 2.18.02 (14th Meeting):
Members not attended: None
  • Ripped DVD and ran practice run
  • Figured out how to sub file
    (but didn't output final version)
  • Played DDR 4th Mix
Total completed: (ep 2) All
Total completed: (ep 3) Unknown
Gammler- Turns out, after Matt got it all done, the timing was off later on, so it's back to Josh to redo that. Still, the good news is that Matt should be able to output it to file in less than an hour if the timing's right.

Q: If "pro" is the opposite of "con", what is the opposite of "progress"?
