| Nightmare continued collecting souls and the fragments of Soul Edge. Approaching the revival of the cursed sword he returned to Ostreinsburg Castle. But there waiting for him was a man with a small sword. After a feirce battle Nightmare was about to finish him off, but then Siegfried's soul awakend and struggled to break free. As the struggle within raged on, the man had gathered the last of his strength and stabbed through the center of Soul Edge. Letting out an inhuman howl, Nightmare fell to his knees and Siegfried had regained control of his body. Thrusting the holy sword Soul Calibur into the eye of Soul Edge, he sealed the demonic sword. Now to repent for his sins, he travels the land searching for a way to destroy it... |

Looked upon with scorn because of no family and her obvious non Japanese appearance she became a drifter at an early age. She was taken in by a kind man, but although he wasn't rich he gave her whatever he could. He later gave her an expensive kimono and the name Setsuka which means "Snow Flower". Her master was a bodyguard and taught her batto jyutsu- the art of fighting from the draw.
One day when she returned to the town she found her master injured from battle. Soon he died from his wounds and Setsuka found out the name of his killer: Heishiro Mitsurugi. Armed with her hidden sword and wearing the kimono, she set out for revenge. |

| On his journey to purify Soul Edge he ran into Xianghua and they travelled together once again. Upon sensing an evil presence, they had ran into a man carrying a large scythe. Not backing down Kilik challenged the man and was defeated. Upon waking up he was in Edgemaster's care. To truly be able to defeat the sword, Edgemaster had infused himself with some of the power of the evil sword. After 3 long months Kilik had sucessfully landed a purifying blow on his master. After completing his training Kilik and Xianghua had set off once again. |
