Wow, last time I watched Trigun, I don't remember Wolfwood having a styrofoam cross covered in duct tape. Nor do I remember him having an acne infested face. I guess I just wasn't looking close enough. Just the costume without the cross doesn't add up to much - the cross is what holds the package together. Without it, the entire getup isn't very exciting, so if you botch the cross, you've basically botched the costume.
